Calendar Tool – WebProsperity Calendar Tool Really Helps
Filed Under (Web Prosperity Tools) by on 18-04-2009
I came back and read the previous post about the WebProsperity logo and said to myself, SO WHAT? Who really needs to know that detail? Especially if they are not members!
So today I decided to share how I am using the WebProsperity Calendar to help me organize my own business. That is right. My own business. WebProsperity is becoming my answer to streamlining my operations and making my business more efficient and economical. That is what I wanted it to do. All of the other things about downlines and residual income are secondary (nice, but secondary) to the real reason I joined WebProsperity. To help build My Own Business.
That is right, the internet marketing tools in this suite are very useful and I shall share how I am using each one with my online work. Maybe it will give you some ideas about what YOU can do with it.
I have several websites that I manage. In addition, I am a freelance writer. I am getting more and more requests for writing recently. My laptop screen was full of little sticky notes to remind me who I need to contact and when something is due. I was actually getting swamped by the clutter. I did not miss deadlines, but I had a lot of tension trying to keep on top of the wave of new input. That tension began to affect my attention and work quality and family time.
I knew I had to do something better, not something more, but different and more effective. I thought back to other times in my life when I juggled many variables and multiple projects ROUTINELY. And the silly little light clicked on in my head. USE the CALENDAR!
WOW. What a difference! I spent about an hour putting all of my little notes into appropriate places on my WebProsperity Calendar so everything would have an allocated time and all the information would be right where I needed it. Within two days of starting to USE the Calendar I felt the tension dissipate and noticed how much easier it was for me to keep track of all of these various projects and websites. AWESOME. Without a doubt, combining MY business needs with the tools I have available at WebProsperity has been a wise choice.
Now, I keep the Calendar handy just like a notepad. Once a day I put my little notes into my schedule and everything falls into place. I can see where the spaces of time are and I can wrap my work around my family’s needs instead of the other way around. That is what I wanted in the first place when I started my own online business.
